Building financial knowledge and the right financial attitude in children can positively impact their development, and can lead to better mental and physical health, and even more harmonious family relationships.

To achieve this, Dah Sing Bank is pleased to introduce “Dah Sing Bank • Hello Kitty Saving for Your Dreams”. The programme aims to explain core monetary concepts to children in an easy, interactive and fun way through three fun tools: “Saving Tips”, “Saving Calculator”,and “Online Drawing Competition”. By teaching children the idea of money-saving, we hope to encourage them to build a healthy habit of “spending after saving”.

How do we do that? First, Hello Kitty will share “Saving Tips” with children to explain the idea and benefits of saving money. Next, Hello Kitty’s “Saving Calculator” will teach children the idea of setting up saving goals to achieve their dreams. For instance, if they want to buy something they really want, or if they want to plan a weekend getaway, the tool will show them how to plan step-by-step towards achieving their goals. Last but not least, to motivate children to learn to save, our Online Drawing Competition encourages children to use their creativity and imagination to feature Hello Kitty in drawing and to show how “Achieving Big by Saving Small” can help achieve their dreams.
